2019 & 2021
STATE CHAMPIONS!!
Boys' Volleyball at Fishers High School
In 2015, we re-established boys' volleyball at Fishers High School after a 7 year absence. As of the 2022-23 school year, Boys' volleyball has become an Emerging Sport under the Indiana High School Athletic Association. As an Emerging Sport, we now follow all IHSAA rules and bylaws, but the league is still governed by the Indiana Boys Volleyball Coaches' Association. The season starts in late February/early March and ends with the State Championship the weekend before Memorial Day weekend.
The Varsity team posted double digit wins in its inaugural year with a record of 11-25. In 2016, the Varsity team posted a winning overall record with 20 total wins and an overall record of 20-15. They lost a very close regional championship match to Lafayette Jefferson High School for a chance to participate in the state tournament championship weekend. The program took a huge leap forward during the 2017 season by winning a Regional Championship and participating in the State Championship Tournament weekend. Winning ways continued into the 2018 season, as the team captured their 2nd Regional Championship in a row. Fishers has now won 7 straight Regional Championships.
In 2019, in just our 5th year, Fishers completed an undefeated in-state season at 36-0, winning our first ever STATE TITLE! We followed that historic season with back to back State Titles by winning in 2021, as the 2020 season was cancelled due to the pandemic. Overall record for 2021 was 41-1 and 37-1 in-state record. Fishers finished 3rd overall in 2022 and 2024 and State Runners-up in 2023.
