Chirag (CP) was born in India and moved to the Unites States in 2000. His family first moved to New Jersey and after a few years they moved to Fishers, Indiana and have never looked back. CP graduated from Hamilton Southeastern High School in 2004. He met coach Carlos in 2017 when he came to Portillo’s where he used to work. They had a small conversation that lead to coach Carlos offering him a position as an assistant Coach for his Volleyball team.

 

CP has always looked for an opportunity like this to come and when coach Carlos asked him, he was excited and accepted his offer right away. It has been so much fun for CP to assist coaching the Varsity team for the past 5 years. In 2019 the boys brought home the State trophy by winning their first ever State Championship. Again, in 2021 the boys made another historic moment for the school and team by winning back-to-back State Championships. It has been an honor to CP to be part of this team and be the assistant coach to these boys throughout the years.

 

CP has always been a sports fanatic and will literally play anything that entertains him. He grew up playing volleyball on the street, in the gym with friends and family, but never got the chance to play as a part of a school team, but having the chance to coach the Fishers High School boys has definitely fulfilled his dream.
